A basketball player who plays for Busan KCC Aegis, a Korean basketball team Files Lawsuit Against Ex-Girlfriend.

 

On the 26th, Heo Ung’s legal representative, attorney Kim Dong-hyung, announced that a lawsuit had been filed with the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul against Heo’s ex-girlfriend, Ms. A, and her accomplice, Mr. B.

The charges include attempted extortion, blackmail, violation of the Stalking Crime Punishment Act, and violation of the Narcotics Control Act.

 

Attorney Kim claimed, "Since late May 2021, Ms. A has been threatening to expose Heo Ung’s private life to the media, social media, and his team, demanding 300 million won.

" According to Heo’s side, he met Ms. A through an acquaintance in December 2018 and developed a romantic relationship with her, which ended in December 2021.

During their relationship, it was reported that Ms. A became pregnant twice.

During the first pregnancy, Heo promised to take responsibility for Ms. A and the child, but Ms. A chose to undergo an abortion, stating she wanted to have a child only after marriage.

 

In May 2021, during her second pregnancy, Ms. A insisted that they must marry before the child was born.

When Heo replied that he needed more time to consider marriage, she allegedly began blackmailing him.

On this day, Heo Ung posted on his social media, "Since breaking up with my ex-girlfriend, I have been subjected to continuous financial demands and threats for three years.

I have suffered for a long time and could not endure it any longer, leading me to decide to pursue legal action.

I plan to fully cooperate with the police investigation to ensure the perpetrators are punished through the judicial process.

 

" Heo Ung, the eldest son of "Basketball President" Heo Jae, joined the Wonju Dongbu Promy in 2014 and is currently playing for the Busan KCC Egis.
